I wanted to share with you a picture and idea from one of my amazing readers Tara! This is her solution to the shoe problem at the entrance to her home from the garage. She used a shoe rack that attaches to the wall.
Tara said, “That’s three adults worth of shoes right there. One of whom is a college age girl. All those shoes used to end up in a nasty dirty heap around the steps into the house. Right where we stepped out of them. It wasn’t safe and it was ruining our shoes. This has been great.”

I have a basket for all my kids’ shoes by the front door. My girls love their shoes and with the day care kids too, it can make for a big mess. All the kids know to put their shoes in the basket and it saves me one thing from picking up.
