I first saw the movie in my teens and fell in love with it. The beauty of Beverly Hills, the sparkle of the Beverly Wilshire and who could forget Rodeo Drive?! The best part of the movie was when she finally got to shop, right?
My hubby and I recently visited Beverly Hills. It was just as beautiful in person as it was in the movie. Stunning. While walking down the street, I couldn’t help myself. I had to strike a few poses!
If you are anything like me, you work at home. It’s so easy to wear the yoga pant “tuxedo” every day. You know what I am talking about. The comfy pants and tee shirts; messy ponytails or hats.
Well I have had enough of it. It’s time to play dress up! I feel better when I work in nice clothes. I focus better. I take my work more seriously. There are days that I skip the fancy clothes and put on the sweats but for the most part I really enjoy dressing up.
I started researching fashion over the last two years. My style icons are Kate Middleton, Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy. I love their classic style. I also love to follow some current trends. Naturally I have created my own spin.
My style says mom meets Jackie O at Tiffanys. 🙂

The clothes I am wearing in the pics above are from Ann Taylor Loft. I am in love with that store. I have tried to branch out to other brands but the majority of my clothes in my closet are from the Loft. They have great quality clothing, they fit me well and the prices are great!
Here is a breakdown of my outfit…
Strive For Glam is a new category I am adding to the blog. My hope is to inspire you to have fun and be creative with your personal style. Get out of those yoga pants and put on some make up. It’s fun being a woman, play it up!
