This tree could be made from any type of materials! Felt, paper, paper towel roll (tape the leaves around it), or you could even try making it digitally. The options are endless! I chose to repurpose a paper grocery bag. I cut down one creased side and cut the bottom off. I opened the bag up and laid it flat. I free handed a tree and cut it out. Took four pieces of construction paper, drew leaves, cut them all out and stuck them in a baggie (to store till they are all used). I taped the tree to the wall. Now every night at dinner, during November, we all take turns saying what we are thankful for. I write the “thankfuls” on the leaves and the kids stick them to the tree! It’s fun, inspring and so nice to hear what we are all thankful for. It’s not to late to start this craft! You will be surprised at how fast the leaves fill up the tree! I will post an updated picture at the end of November, here on this page, and share it with you on Facebook.
