How do you feel about schedules and routines?
Every August, (after the craziness of summer), I would start to look forward to the up coming fall in anticipation of a normal routine. I’d spend hours in a spreadsheet trying to color code our daily life.
Once the fall hit we’d start on my freshly printed, brightly colored schedule.
Three days later it would end up in the trash because so much “life” happened that it was pointless trying to stick to it.
Not only would I feel like a failure for not being able to stick to a schedule but I also felt as if that brightly colored spreadsheet was bossing me around.
I guess I am just too much of a free spirit to follow a schedule.
So I dove into the idea of setting up a routine.
That two went wrong quickly. I’d try to write everything down I needed to do in one day and follow the list.
Nope, that didn’t work either….
No joke, I did this year after year and maybe you can guess what happened…
I’d get the same results which equaled, no results!
Once giving up on a schedule and routine I found myself in a natural routine.
In today’s video I share a simple no-routine method. I feel like I finally cracked the “get it done” code with this one!
